Choosing reading for kids who don't like to read is tricky!
The Common Core Standards for English Language Arts state that children should be able to read and write FLEXIBLY. In other words, they can read/write different kinds of "text" for different purposes. TEXT is considered to be print (primary and secondary sources, video and audio sources. It's definitely a new way of thinking of "reading".
